Our hygienist Poppy Walsh grew up in Bromley, Kent and qualified as a hygienist at Kings College in 2004. She has previously done dental nursing with certificates in sedation, life support, cannulation, and phlebotomy. She now lives down in the Kent countryside and travels up specially every Tuesday!
Dr Katherine Opie-Smith (Reg No. GDC-62961) qualified at Guy’s Hospital, London in 1987, and lives in the house at 112 Dulwich Village in which the surgery is located. Katherine has worked in London, Germany, and Africa and has lived in Hong Kong. She has done voluntary work in Africa, and keeps busy with her young family. Living ‘above the shop’ means that she can provide a personal service and care not available at most dental practices.
Sue Priest qualified in Dental Nursing in Manchester and then later did Dental Therapy at King’s College in London. She has lived in Dulwich for 20 years and is our practice nurse. Sue can answer almost any question you have about the surgery!
